Natalie Gilbert’s passion for business started at a very young age, when her mother was a waitress and raising three children on her own. At the end of a long day, Natalie would take off her mom’s shoes and rub her feet to relieve the tension from standing on them all day. The young girl saw how good it made her mother feel and began to think about making others feel the same way. After graduating from massage school and working in Los Angeles, Natalie became aware of how busy, hard-working people valued therapeutic massage. She later moved to Nashville, where she planted her business at the intersection of hospitality, healthcare, and entrepreneurship.
Natalie’s clients want to blend the demands of daily work schedules with a desire for wellness. In addition to physical pains and posture problems, they struggle with ongoing stress that impacts their mental—as well as physical—health. And the corporations that employ these individuals deal with keeping employees healthy and productive, while paying high healthcare costs. This is the problem that Natalie and her business resolve.
Although Natalie had been dreaming about her business for over ten years, the path was lonely and discouraging. Then she found The Woman’s Advantage® Forum, which provided her with a community of like-minded women and the tools to take Natalie’s Office Spa from a vision to reality.
