Five Steps to Establishing a Positive Habit
1. Create your future vision.
Write down what your life will look like once you’ve established that habit. How will things be different?
2. Visualize the habit in action.
How will you feel when you are executing this habit? How will you feel about the results?
3. Create your habit.
Define it specifically. For example, “I’ll do these PT exercises every morning before I get dressed.”
4. Share your goal with at least one important individual.
Ask them to check with you any time on how you are doing.
5. Create a reward system.
Recognize yourself as you reach key dates.
