Ever feel like your Mojo has left town and you don’t even care to chase after it? With everything you’ve got on your plate, these periods of blah can really slow you down and negatively impact your business and personal life.
It’s important to regain your motivation as quickly as possible and here are five ways to do just that.
5 Ways to Regain Your Mojo
1. Clear the chaos.
When you’re overloaded with unimportant things it’s hard to be motivated. Spend one hour each day eliminating a segment of clutter from your life. Whether it’s cleaning out your closet, your inbox, or the trunk of your car, as you make a “clearing” in your life, you’ll feel motivated to do more.
2. Create a visual of your life.
Draw a graphic outline of your current life—an org chart of sorts. It can be very artistic or just boxes connected by lines. Size the icons or boxes in proportion to the amount of time you spend on them each week. Draw it out. Study it. Decide what needs to change.
3. Carry a notebook.
For one month, carry a notebook everywhere you go and jot down whatever comes to mind. Your notes can be future business ideas, goals, affirmations, things that strike you funny. The key is to capture them. Then once a week look back over them and decide what—if any—actions to take.
4. Get physical!
Crank up your body and get those endorphins flowing. The less you feel like working out, the more you need it. And rather than going to the gym, take it outside to connect with nature. Guaranteed to work every time!
5. Asking questions might be the answer.
Don’t just ask what you can do to be happier, but what you can do to win happiness for others. How can you use your resources and connections to make the world a better place?
